Engineer Equipment Manager, MN

Job Description: The job duties
associated with this position revolve around SarTec's one-of-a-kind agricultural equipment. This
position will be responsible for managing our equipment
manufacturing and development process.
Specific Duties:
- Manage the equipment and field service department. Oversee equipment builds and
manage equipment personnel. Delegate tasks as required. Be responsible for meeting
project deadlines and milestones. Provide project and equipment status updates to upper
management.
- Equipment – Build new equipment to order and keep the shop organized and stocked
with appropriate levels of inventory as needed. Track and troubleshoot equipment and
communication issues, repair as needed. Travel to customer feed yards to install new
equipment and assist with equipment service as needed.
- Research and Development – Engineer and develop novel equipment to be used in the
field, perform tasks associated with grants received (pilot plant design and operation,
analyzing compounds using lab equipment, etc.)
- Field Service Coordinator – This includes: coordinating/scheduling equipment
installations with service personnel; coordinating equipment requests from service
personnel; assembling complete systems (from already installed components –
computerized, manual and LSC), programming and testing before shipping out; speaking
with field service reps and handling questions; and assisting requests from delivery
personnel.
- SarTec Automatic SarComputer Interrogator – Interpret data received from SASI reports,
communicate any issues found with service and management personnel. Monitor data to
ensure all customers are running efficiently.
- Various other duties and special projects - as directed by your supervisor.

Equipment Service Representative, KS
Location: Dodge City, KS
Job Description: The service
portion of this position will be focused on performing repairs and
general service on SarTec’s grain conditioning and related equipment in Kansas. Other duties
may include product delivery, product production, maintenance, and other items as assigned by
your supervisor. Additionally, occasional trips may be required outside of your service area as
directed by your supervisor.
Specific Duties:
-You will perform service calls as needed for all
customers located in your territory and
elsewhere as business may require.
-The current target for servicing each customer’s equipment located in your area is a minimum
of once a month. This may be subject to change as needed and more trips may be required.
-You will be expected to fill out a detailed electronic service report for each feedlot visit and
send it to SarTec. This form may be filled out electronically and emailed or by hand and mailed
or faxed.
-You will be expected to send in a weekly email report of your activities (during the previous
week) and schedule for the upcoming week.
-Training will be provided
*Occasional climbing up on feed mills, which can vary in height* Safety Harness will be
provided.
Requirements
⧫ 1 year of plumbing experience preferred
⧫ 1 year of electrical experience preferred.
⧫ Associates or technical degree preferred.
⧫ Driver’s license
⧫ Comfortable with occasional work at heights, safety harness provided
⧫ Comfortable working outdoors.

Location: Fresno, CA (South of Turlock)
Job Description:
SarTec is looking for an independent, self-starting sales representative to cover the
California
territory (everywhere south of Turlock). This position requires experience and/or a degree in
animal science or agribusiness. One year of previous sales experience is preferred.
Significant
time will be spent on the road visiting with feedlots, nutritionists, veterinarians and
other related professionals. SarTec will provide training and technical support on products.
Strong emphasis will be placed on sales growth and customer retention. Set sales goals will be
established. Communication of weekly sales activities to management is required and a list of
top prospects should also be developed and maintained. Agricultural experience is preferred.
Compensation will include a base salary and commission based on experience as well as
competitive benefits.
